About BSA
BSA was established in early 2010 to represent landholder, community groups and individuals with serious concerns about the unrestrained development of the coal seam gas industry across Queensland and the associated environmental, health and social impacts.
BSA has been working hard to represent the concerns of its members, landholders and businesses – particularly within the Western Downs and Surat Basin regions. BSA representatives have enjoyed robust discussions with a range of Federal and State Government Ministers and departmental officers, politicians of all persuasions, university researchers and scientists, economists, hydrologists, CSG industry representatives, community groups, industry organisations like APPEA and QRC and other peer organisations like Agforce and QFF.
