The Queensland Government has appointed an independent reviewer to undertake a review of the Qld GasFields Commission. The GasFields Commission is an independent statutory body established to manage and improve sustainable coexistence between rural landholders, regional communities and the onshore gas industry. The commission was formally established in July 2013, at a time of rapid development of the coal seam gas to liquefied natural gas (CSG-LNG) industry.
As part of the review a questionnaire has been developed to target the issues relevant to the reviewer. By completing the questionnaire, you are authorising the reviewer to use your submission for the purpose of the review.
The questionnaire is open until 22 April 2016.
